Connie: Congratulations on Journal of the week! I thought Wisconsin was cold... How far up into Canada are you? I learned how to crochet recently. It was a learning curve and work to learn, but I love it. It gets easy and then another new stitch comes alonng to challenge . It does take me some time to figure out those coded directions.

At least I've done something this weekend...

Like promised I will post some pictures today. ... However I was not as successful with my schoolwork. I did some, but not as much as I would have liked to do. Pity. Maybe I'll try to do a little Philosophy later tonight.

On the crafting side of things I am on Lesson 2 of my crochet book.

Lesson one was stating the chain. At this point I feel I've mastered the art of chain making, but you be the judge.

If you're wondering why the stiches are less than consistant, it could be the fact that I'm not as good as I pretend to be. OR I was testing different tensions. I like the latter better. Of course while I am becoming a crochet wiz, I have also been working on my quilling. See look, a ducky!
